‘Electro-acoustic’ or ‘Acoustic-electric’ guitar is an acoustic guitar that you can plug into an amplifier or mixing board. This type of guitar looks almost identical to a normal acoustic guitar apart from two additional features, namely that electro-acoustic guitars have a jack where you can plug it in, and a control panel where you can adjust the volume, EQ, insert batteries, and sometimes a built-in tuner.
You can plug this guitar into the mains whenever you want. It can also still be played as a regular acoustic guitar if the power cord is not plugged in.
