Joe Satriani, or often nicknamed Satch or Saint Joe, was born in New York in 1956.
Satriani is a world-famous instrumental rock guitarist, not only because of the various instrumental albums he has produced, but also for his expertise as a teacher.

Some of Joe Satriani’s students include guitarists for various famous bands such as Counting Crows, Metallica, Primus, and Third Eye Blind.
In addition to producing instrumental albums and touring as a solo artist, Joe Satriani has also toured with Mick Jagger and Deep Purple, and contributed to various rock record albums by Alice Cooper, Blue Oyster Cult, Crowded House, and Yardbirds.
