Skasucks

Skasucks

Skasucks is a ska-punk band from Seoul, South Korea, formed in 2006 and known for its energetic live shows. The group is led by vocalist Ryu, who is also a tattoo artist and a key figure in the Korean punk scene. Skasucks has opened for international acts such as The Slackers and the Chris Murray Combo.

Beyond music, Ryu runs Club SHARP and SHARP INK and launched the New Generation of Ska Festival in 2014. The festival has since become one of Korea’s leading ska and punk events, featuring local, Japanese, and American bands. Acts such as The Toasters, Oi-Skall Mates, and Suicide Machines have performed there, cementing Skasucks’ role as pioneers in Korea’s ska-punk movement.
