Since 1975, almost 90% of the people who live in Baki Guitar Village in Sukoharjo make a living by making guitars. It is said that the survival of Baki Sukoharjo Guitar Village as a tourist village and guitar center originated from community empowerment that always prioritizes local wisdom.

In fact, it is rumored that the ability to make various kinds of guitar musical instruments has been owned by residents for generations. Even so, making a guitar is not an easy matter, because each craftsman requires special skills and diligence in order to produce a smooth and comfortable instrument to play.
