Gary Holt looked back on how the business side of the music industry has changed, and spoke about which younger bands could continue to carry the torch of thrash metal after its founding fathers are gone.

In addition to the growing discontent with the music industry’s current operating model, life for musicians hasn’t been the same since the pandemic first hit. The increase in prices meant that touring didn’t pay off as much for some musicians, leading others to completely abandon the prospect (or previously booked parts of their trek) for the time being.
