Flamenco Guitar

Flamenco guitars are made of thinner wood so that they can be used for fast playing that requires high vibration. The characteristics of the sound produced are bright and warm so that players must play this guitar more strongly so that the sound is more audible.

In fact, the powerful growl of flamenco guitars is often important for replicating strumming patterns called “rasgueados” and fast finger-picking techniques called “picados”, which are characteristic of the sound that flamenco guitars produce.

Traditionally, flamenco guitars are made with a spruce top and cypress backs and sides to achieve a bright tone.
