The 2025 Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival will take place at Windward Mall on Saturday, June 7, 2025, starting at 10:00 A.M. This festival will feature beloved steel guitar masters from O‘ahu, performing Hawaii’s favorite music.
The event will be livestreamed on the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Showcase’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel as part of the Showcase’s festival presentations. The livestream will also be archived for on-demand viewing on YouTube.
This festival is presented free to the public by the Hawaii Institute for Music Enrichment and Learning Experiences (HIMELE) in partnership with Windward Mall. Funding for the festival and livestream broadcast is provided by the Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA), through appropriations from the Legislature of the State of Hawai‘i and grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Additional support was provided by the Laurence H. Dorcy Hawaiian Foundation, with equipment supplied to NextGEn steel guitarists by John Pearse Strings.
