The 2025 Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival – Keiki Kine will take place in mid-August 2025 at Kahala Mall in Honolulu, East O‘ahu. This festival will once again showcase Keiki NextGen steel guitar players and musicians from Alan Akaka’s Ke Kula Mele Hawai‘i School of Hawaiian Music, performing beloved Hawaiian tunes.

This event is presented free to the public by the Hawaii Institute for Music Enrichment and Learning Experiences (HIMELE) in collaboration with Kahala Mall. NextGen steel guitarists receive support from Breezy Ridge® Instruments, Ltd., home of John Pearse® Strings.
