Legendary blues guitarist BB King passed away at the age of 89 at his home in Las Vegas, USA This information was reported by The Associated Press by quoting King’s attorney, Brent Bryson. Before dying, King had been in poor health, but the guitarist still forced himself to perform on stage. In October last year, King collapsed while performing at a concert in Chicago, USA.

At that time, he claimed to be dehydrated and exhausted, so he collapsed during the performance. Shortly after the incident, King was also hospitalized due to high blood pressure and diabetes. BB King was born in Mississipi on September 16, 1925 with the name Riley B. King. During his career, he has recorded more than 50 albums that sold millions of copies worldwide. B.B. King is best known as a blues musician with his very popular hits including “Three O’Clock Blues” (1952), “The Thrill Is Gone” (1970), and his duet song with the band U2 “When Love Comes to Town” (1989). For his distinguished career, King was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 1984, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, and received The Songwriters Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement award in 1990.
