Tosin Abasi (born 1983) is an American guitarist and composer. He is best known as the founder of the progressive metal band Animals as Leaders.
Abasi earned recognition for his revolutionary “thumping” technique and his virtuosic 8-string guitar playing. He blends progressive metal, jazz fusion, and electronic elements to create a unique sound.
