- Repertoire Submission Deadline: May 15, 2025
- Virtual Orientation Meeting: June 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET
- Preliminary Round: June 16–17, 2025
- Semi-Final Round: June 19, 2025 (10:00 AM–6:00 PM)
- Final Round: June 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM
All deadlines are based on ET (11:59 PM).

Eligibility
- Open to musicians aged 17–35 from around the world (as of June 21, 2025).
- Previous GFA Rose Augustine Grand Prize winners are ineligible to compete.
Required & Commissioned Pieces
- Required Piece:
- First movement of “Sonata for Guitar Op.42” by Miklos Rózsa.
- Purchase sheet music here.
- Commissioned Piece:
- A new composition specially created for ICAC by GFA.
- All registered participants will receive the sheet music for this piece on May 2, 2025.
- The competition winner will perform this piece during the winner’s tour.

Note: GFA membership alone does not register you for the competition!
Prizes
- Total cash prizes: $25,000!
- International concert tour (50+ performances across the US, Canada, and more).

- Registration and payment must be completed online by May 1, 2025 (11:59 PM PST).
- No late submissions will be accepted.
- Registration fees must be paid in full upon application.
